MC: Consequences Edition
We are suing Mojang AB over the forced Microsoft account migration, where the filings went in to Nacka tingsrätt on 24 June 2026.
Current status
Every qualified participant has been notified, and has to confirm to the court by 25 September 2026
Given that the court's own notices were poorly handled, we've emailed every qualified participant directly from updates@bulk.lawsuit.gg, where anyone who wants to be covered by the class action has to confirm that in writing to the court no later than the 25th of September 2026. Beyond that we are still waiting on a formal decision on class certification, where no further procedural reason the suit wouldn't qualify has come up so far.

Can I take part?
Participation closed on 19 June 2026, where the list was sent in to the court and nothing could be added from that point onwards.
The criteria for the first group were:
- Purchased the game before the 10th of December 2013 (non inclusive, aka 9th at the latest)
- Is a EU/EEA resident
- Bought the game while under 18 years old
If we get approved as a class action, the idea is to have the court order Mojang to notify affected users from their own internal databases, where everyone else would then get a chance to join. More in the FAQ.
